The Utility & Transportation Contractors Association of NJ

UTCA of New Jersey is a national award winning, non-profit trade association headquartered in Wall, New Jersey. UTCA currently includes approximately 1,100 member firms active in all phases of heavy, highway, site, utility and environmental remediation construction, in the public and private sectors, throughout the State.

On behalf of its member firms, UTCA strives to improve working conditions for the construction industry through its work in legislative and regulatory matters, safety training, labor relations, specifications development, group cost savings programs and individual problem solving. UTCA conducts an annual convention and trade show and produces a number of publications such as a monthly newsletter, contractor advisories and a magazine.

UTCA is the State Chapter of a national construction organization based in the Washington, D.C. area, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA). UTCA is also affiliated with the Clean Water Construction Coalition and is one of the founding associations of the Construction Industry Advancement Program of New Jersey (CIAP).

UTCA has received 12 National Awards over the previous 10 years for its work on behalf of the construction industry.
