The UTCA Safety Committee is pleased to announce Patrick Nelson, as the Keynote Speaker for our Annual Safety Conference.

 Patrick Nelson, a retired U.S. Army officer who now runs Loyalty Point Leadership, takes the hard lessons he learned on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan to help others not repeat his mistakes.

Patrick’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to family-run businesses, and he has helped them develop exceptional leaders at every level. His Keynote speech will focus on helping create better Safety and Operational leaders by giving them a playbook to make safety personal and a driver of workplace excellence.

 Also Presenting will be:

• Chris Lalevee will give a presentation on suicide prevention, a significant problem that plagues our industry. Chris will provide attendees with techniques to help identify those needing assistance and the resources to get to them.
• Sergeant Frank Soos, head of the New Jersey Construction Unit, will discuss the poor state of our N.J. Work Zones and what can be done to fix them.
• Nick DePoto from South Jersey Industries will review the new One-Call Regulations that went into effect this past year. Changes that contractors must know.
• Our Annual Safety Awards will also be given out.
